Introducing Alex Weis, Program Manager

Creating Great Places and Spaces for the Rapidly Evolving Workplace

We are delighted to announce the addition of Alex Weis to our team as the new Program Manager at Splice in the Bay Area. Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in urban and regional planning, transportation, and corporate real estate & workplace operations, having gained valuable experience at renowned companies such as Verizon and Yahoo!.

In our recent discussion with Alex, he expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the Splice team, in anticipation of working together to uncover fresh opportunities and deliver top-notch workplace experiences for clients. His excitement lies in cultivating new partnerships with both existing and potential clients.

When queried about his decision to transition to Splice, Alex conveyed that his time at Yahoo! was personally and professionally fulfilling, but he is now thrilled to be a part of the dynamic Splice organization. He is particularly drawn to Splice’s focus on providing curated workplace services tailored to client needs.

Alex’s work philosophy revolves around embracing new challenges, employing strategic thinking, and ensuring concrete results. Beyond his professional commitments, he maintains a family-oriented lifestyle with two young daughters and a supportive wife who keeps him grounded and occupied. His personal interests encompass activities such as golfing, biking, playing the drums, and a passion for landscape architecture, exemplified by his recent project implementing a drought-tolerant relandscape in his front yard.

“I’m driven by new challenges, working through them with a strategic lens, and delivering tangible results.”

Reflecting on his relocation from Boston, Alex observes cultural disparities between the East Coast and Silicon Valley. Notably, he points out that Boston exudes a strong sense of place, while San Jose and Silicon Valley emphasize a sense of space. Given his involvement in real estate, workplace, and facilities management, he’s mindful of the historical and geographic distinctions between these regions with a goal to create great places and spaces for clients.

Looking ahead, Alex is enthusiastic about contributing to shaping the post-pandemic workplace. He views this period as a unique opportunity for companies like Splice to redefine the future of work, creating innovative workplace models tailored to each client.

We are confident that Alex’s wealth of expertise and genuine passion will be instrumental in contributing to Splice’s ongoing success, and we eagerly anticipate achieving new milestones together.
