When our sister company, One Workplace, was asked to design a hybrid workspace for the non-profit foundation arm of a Bay Area children’s hospital, Splice was engaged to oversee construction of the tenant improvement. This tenant improvement was focused on the foundation’s post-pandemic Return to Office and their transition to a hybrid workplace.
Phase I involved gutting the existing area and reimagining it as a new workspace with open ceilings and polished concrete floors. Workstations were placed throughout the open office, surrounded by numerous huddle rooms, breakout rooms, and conference rooms. The main conference room was designed for flexibility of meeting and event types, with state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and equipment.
In Phase II, the smaller second floor space is being refreshed with matching finishes, furniture, and AV.
